MySmartDealer ("we", "us") operates MySmartDealer at mysmartdealer.com, a CRM for pre-owned car dealerships in India. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information.

Information we collect

  • Account information: the name, email address and mobile number of the dealership's team members who sign in.
  • Dealership data: business details, vehicles, photos and documents, leads, customers and sales records that the dealership enters.
  • Connected social accounts: when a dealership connects Instagram or a Facebook Page, we receive the account or Page ID, username or Page name, profile link and an access token, as permitted by the dealership through Meta's login. When WhatsApp is offered, the same applies to the WhatsApp Business account the dealership connects.
  • Content you publish: vehicle photos and captions the dealership chooses to post through our service.
  • Usage data: log data, device and browser information.

How we use it

  • To let dealership team members sign in and manage their dealership.
  • To publish content to the connected Instagram account or Facebook Page only when a dealership team member instructs us to.
  • To operate, secure and improve the service, and to provide support.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use data obtained from Meta platforms for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Meta Platform Data

Data received from Instagram and Facebook APIs is used solely to provide the features you request, in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You can disconnect your account at any time.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (e.g. hosting, database and file storage), under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active. Access tokens are stored encrypted. When you disconnect Instagram or Facebook, the stored access token and account details are deleted immediately. When you ask us to delete your account, related data is deleted within 30 days.
